Nurse Practitioner, Pediatrics

Conduct comprehensive health assessments, diagnose pediatric conditions, and manage chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, and ADHD in an outpatient clinical setting. Prescribe medications, perform minor procedures including immunizations and wound care, and coordinate referrals to specialists. Deliver preventive care through well-child visits, developmental screenings, and family education on nutrition, safety, and child development. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and social workers in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure continuity of care. Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Provide mentorship to nursing staff, medical assistants, and students. Requires an MSN or DNP with PNP certification, active NY RN and APRN licenses, and BLS/ACLS certification. Bilingual Spanish speakers are preferred.
