Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner in Palliative Care is responsible for providing expert clinical care, conducting comprehensive health assessments, and collaborating with attending physicians for patient care. Essential duties include diagnosing medical conditions, formulating treatment plans, and performing medical/surgical care. Mandatory qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice, RN and NP licensure in the state of practice, and CPR or BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two years' relevant clinical experience
