Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner to manage orthopedic trauma patients in collaboration with the orthopedic trauma surgeon(s); direct clinical management through approved protocols; evaluate new trauma patients in the Emergency Room, provide direction to hospital personnel, and manage inpatient orthopedic fracture patients. Involves work in the operating room and outpatient clinic settings with a full-time rotation including clinic, operating room, inpatient rounding, and PA call coverage. Candidates must hold a valid Idaho NP license and a controlled substances registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the DEA, with background in surgical/critical care in a hospital-based setting. The position is at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC) and includes relocation benefits, PTO & CME, malpractice insurance, health/dental/vision, and retirement (403b).
