Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Urgent Care needed to provide independent acute medical care across age groups. Role emphasizes evidence-based practice, high-quality patient care, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include consulting with physicians and specialists, ordering imaging and labs, supervising/mentoring new PA/NP providers, ensuring complete and accurate patient encounters, and referring to higher levels of care when needed. Day-to-day duties focus on evaluating and treating patients, managing patient flow, triage for severe cases, maintaining positive patient/family relationships, and addressing equipment/supply issues. Requires minimum 1 year urgent care or emergency medicine experience, ACLS/BLS certification (PALS highly recommended), and Colorado licensure with an active DEA license.
