Job Summary

Evaluate and implement high-quality medical care for adult and pediatric patients, adhering to service standards and center policies. Provide patient care within assigned clinical areas, serve as a resource for patients and staff, and maintain accurate documentation for reimbursement. Perform procedures including suturing and abscess drainage, read diagnostic studies such as x-rays and EKGs, and participate in required meetings and professional development activities. Report to the Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations or Area Clinical Operations Director. This role offers FT (30 or 36 hours) or PT (24 hours) schedules with a 3-day/12-hour week option, no overnight shifts, and competitive compensation including a bonus plan, CME allowance, and fully covered malpractice. Candidates must hold a valid Georgia license as an FNP or PA-C, current DEA registration, and relevant certifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in accordance with the state of Georgia
  • Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study
  • Current DEA registration
  • Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
  • Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
  • BLS certification
  • Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees
  • Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults
  • Positive, energetic attitude which inspires other team members
  • Sense of service and team orientation absent of hubris
  • Desire to contribute to building and maintaining a great organization
  • Willingness at all times to go the extra mile to create an outstanding experience for customers and to train and lead the center team to do the same

  • Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
