Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) needed to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans in Syracuse, NY. Responsibilities include conducting focused physical exams, reviewing electronic medical records via a secure portal, accurately documenting exam findings and VA forms, and providing medical opinions based on assessments. This is a part-time, in-person role with a 3-day weekly schedule (8:00 AM–4:00 PM), caseload of 3-5 veterans per day, and equipment provided. Note: role does not involve treatment or prescribing medications. Competitive salary ($62,000–$67,000/year) with health insurance, 401K, malpractice coverage, training and ongoing support, and no on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
