Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by performing focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms while providing medical opinions based on assessment data. This part-time role involves a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays through Thursdays, with no on-call duties or treatment responsibilities. An active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
