Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by performing focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings, complete required VA forms, and provide medical opinions based on assessment data. This part-time role includes a Tuesday-Thursday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day and no on-call duties. Equipment and training are provided. The position supports the VA's disability benefits process without treatment or prescribing responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
