Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Pulmonary will operate as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the ICU, responsible for the comprehensive management of critically ill patients. Key duties include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, participating in patient care coordination, ensuring adherence to medical protocols, and engaging with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates must possess current PA or APRN licensure and relevant certifications, with preferred experience in critical care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years NP or PA-C experience as a critical care APP within the last 5 years
