Job Summary
Prisma Health Urgent Care seeks Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver high quality medical care in a flexible, patient-oriented environment. This full-time role offers competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible)
- Licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in accordance with the state of South Carolina
- Current DEA registration
- BLS certification
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees
- Outstanding bedside manner
- Positive, energetic attitude
- Desire to contribute to building and maintaining a great organization
