Job Summary
Conduct primary care services including medical evaluations, treatment, counseling, and referrals under physician supervision. Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans based on evidence-based medicine. Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, manage virtual clinical assessments, and maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation for billing. Provide patient education on wellness habits and prevention, while participating in quality improvement initiatives, clinical guideline implementation, and multidisciplinary teaching for students and residents. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing medical education and research activities.
Required Qualifications
- Board eligible or board-certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant
- Current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey, as determined by the job location
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant
- Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for Physician Assistants
- Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day; 3 hours at a time
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day; 8 hours at a time
- Ability to walk for up to 6 hours per day
- Ability to frequently lift, carry and push objects up to 10 pounds
- Ability to rarely lift, carry and push objects up to 75 pounds
- Ability to frequently stoop and bend
- Ability to frequently reach above shoulder level
- Ability to frequently handle, firm grasp and twist & turn as it relates to performing procedures
- Ability to perceive attributes of an object through touch
- Ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation, high and low frequencies
- Ability to see as it relates to general, near, far, color and peripheral vision
- Ability to speak as it relates to normal conversation and projection as it relates to lectures and presentations
