Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment data without treatment or prescribing responsibilities. Perform focused evaluations for a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day during part-time, predictable shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Requires an active, unrestricted NP or PA license with 2,080+ supervised hours and proficiency in electronic documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- 2,080+ supervised hours
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
