Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Outpatient Otolaryngology

Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider in outpatient otolaryngology to assist physicians in clinic, evaluate new and follow-up patients, perform histories and physical exams, conduct in-office procedures (e.g., cerumen removal, myringotomy, nasal endoscopy), order tests, educate patients, coordinate care, and serve as liaison among inpatient/outpatient nurses and physicians. Requires PA or APRN licensure or eligibility; potential to travel between Charleston sites; standard APP duties and professional practice responsibilities with supervision by a dedicated physician.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- DEA license applications must be started prior to first day
