Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed for outpatient Express Care in a hospital-system setting. Provide primary healthcare for non-acute or chronic conditions within CRNP scope; perform medical history and physicals, develop therapeutic care plans, order/interpret diagnostics, prescribe medications, provide wound care, triage calls, educate patients and families, coordinate with interdisciplinary team, and participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives. Role includes on-call/weekend coverage as part of a rotational schedule; requires state NP/PA licensure, certification, and relevant background clearances.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree MSN from a practicing state board of nursing approved master's program
- National Board Certification for Nurse Practitioners (NP-C or equivalent)
- State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Prescriptive Authority (PA or NP) in practicing state
- DEA Licensure within 60 days of hire
- CPR – AHA
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Substitutions: Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- For PA track: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current PA Physician Assistant License PA-C or board eligible
- Ongoing recertification (NCCPA) as a PA-C
- DEA Licensure within 60 days of hire
- CPR - AHA
- Act 33/34/73 clearances
- FBI Fingerprinting
