Job Summary
Conduct medical evaluations, treatment, counseling, and referrals for patients under attending physician supervision. Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans based on best practice medicine. Provide occupational health services in the urgent care setting, including pre-employment physicals and injury care. Deliver virtual care services via live clinical assessments and care coordination. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing medical education and participate in teaching multidisciplinary students and residents. Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals and contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Board eligible or board-certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant
- Current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania or New Jersey, as determined by the job location
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Medical Physician Assistant
- Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) for Physician Assistants
- Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day; 3 hours at a time
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day; 8 hours at a time
- Ability to walk for up to 6 hours per day
- Ability to frequently lift, carry and push objects up to 10 pounds
- Ability to rarely lift, carry and push objects up to 75 pounds
- Ability to frequently stoop and bend
- Ability to frequently reach above shoulder level
- Ability to frequently handle, firm grasp and twist & turn as it relates to performing procedures
- Ability to perceive attributes of an object through touch
- Ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation, high and low frequencies
- Ability to see as it relates to general, near, far, color and peripheral vision
- Ability to speak as it relates to normal conversation and projection as it relates to lectures and presentations
