Job Summary
Conduct focused, in-person physical exams and review electronic medical records for 3 to 5 Veterans daily as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Electronically document exam findings through a web portal while analyzing data to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions. This independent medical assessment role requires no treatment, prescribing, or disability determinations, with all work performed in-person during Wednesday 9am-5pm hours. A current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license is required.
Required Qualifications

- Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
- Able to analyze data from the medical records and exam findings to complete the questionnaire and form medical opinions
- Skilled in time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements
- Proficiently use a computer
- Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments
