Job Summary
Provide acute care services through telehealth in an outpatient clinic setting, evaluating, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute medical needs. Develop treatment plans, deliver patient education and counseling, and maintain accurate EMR documentation while collaborating with physicians and clinic staff. Manage a daily volume of approximately 35–40 patients in a fast-paced environment with no nights or weekend call. Work within a mission-driven organization serving underserved and uninsured populations in Los Angeles County, utilizing an approved NHSC scholar site.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing required or Masters as a Physician Assistant
- Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required
- Active California Nurse Practitioner licensure required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a certified provider in urgent care required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required, with ability to complete full assessments without an interpreter
