Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by performing focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings and complete required VA forms while providing medical opinions based on assessment data. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication; disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Schedule full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily. No on-call duties are required. The position requires an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and proficiency in electronic documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
