Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor. This full-time role includes a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day and no on-call duties. No treatment or prescribing medication is involved. The position offers a competitive salary of $100,000 - $110,000 per year, health insurance, 401K, and malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
