Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) needed to perform focused in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. Conduct in-person disability assessments, review electronic medical records via a secure web portal, and accurately document exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessments; role excludes treatment or prescribing. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) in Macomb, IL with a caseload of 3-5 veterans per day. Equipment and tools for documentation provided. Requires active, unrestricted NP or PA license and comfort using technology for records review and documentation.
