Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by performing focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings, complete required VA forms, and provide medical opinions based on assessment data. This role involves no treatment or prescribing medication, with determinations made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Schedule includes full-time hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, managing a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily with no on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
