Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by performing focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings, complete required VA forms, and provide medical opinions based on assessment data. Note that this role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication, with decisions made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, handling a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily with a predictable schedule and no on-call duties. The position requires an active, unrestricted NP or PA license and proficiency in electronic documentation tools.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
