Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment data while maintaining a professional demeanor with patients. This structured role involves 3-5 Veterans daily from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday with no on-call duties. No treatment or prescribing responsibilities are included, as disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
