Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Inpatient Pediatric Surgery

Conduct comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and post-operative management for hospitalized pediatric surgical patients. Develop treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform procedures within scope of practice while responding to acute clinical changes. Coordinate care transitions, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary rounds with attending surgeons, fellows, and nursing staff. Provide patient and family education, document outcomes, and advocate for pediatric health care standards. Requires 1-2 years of pediatric acute care or surgical experience; Master's degree or DNP with FNP or Acute Care certification preferred. Full-time rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays.
