Job Summary
Manage a patient panel with a broad array of needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits focused on HIV treatment and prevention. Treat patients in-office, at testing centers, and via occasional tele-health visits while utilizing specific clinical training for in-office procedures. Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and collaborate with both in-office and virtual clinical teams through daily huddles. Maintain proficiency in HIV pathophysiology, treatment protocols, and prevention counseling strategies like PrEP. This full-time role is based in the Castro office in San Francisco, CA, with a base salary range of $164,700 to $196,875. Candidates must hold a national NP or PA certification, be state-licensed in California, and have at least two years of recent experience in an outpatient primary care setting with an HIV patient panel.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
- State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Proficiency in HIV pathophysiology, treatment protocols, pharmacology, and co-morbidities
- Proficiency in counseling and treatment on HIV prevention strategies (like PrEP)
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting with a HIV patient panel
- A passion for human-centered primary care
- The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
- The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
