Job Summary
Manage a patient panel with broad needs by conducting acute, chronic, and well visits focused on HIV treatment and prevention. Treat patients in-office, at testing centers, and via occasional tele-health while utilizing clinical training for in-office procedures. Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and daily huddles with teammates to ensure continuous learning and collaboration. Maintain proficiency in HIV pathophysiology, treatment protocols, and prevention strategies like PrEP counseling. This full-time role is based in the Castro office in San Francisco, CA, with a base salary range of $164,700 to $196,875.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
- State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- Proficiency in HIV pathophysiology, treatment protocols, pharmacology, and co-morbidities
- Proficiency in counseling and treatment on HIV prevention strategies (like PrEP)
- 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting with a HIV patient panel
- A passion for human-centered primary care
- The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
- The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
