Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by performing focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings, complete required VA forms, and provide medical opinions based on assessment data. This part-time role involves a Tuesday-Thursday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a caseload of 3-5 veterans daily. No treatment or prescribing responsibilities exist, and no on-call duties are required. The position supports the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' disability benefits process, offering a structured environment for providers dedicated to serving the Veteran community.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
