Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) needed to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. Conduct focused medical assessments, review electronic medical records via a secure web portal, and accurately document exam findings to complete VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings. Role does not involve treatment or prescribing. Part-time schedule (Mon, Wed, Fri 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) in-person with a caseload of 3-5 veterans per day. Equipment provided (computer and documentation tools).
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license OR Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
- Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals
