Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by performing focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal. Accurately document exam findings, complete required VA forms, and provide medical opinions based on assessment data. This part-time role involves a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day with a schedule of two 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM days per week. No on-call duties are required, and all necessary documentation equipment is provided. Male practitioners are required to comply with VA gender-specific privacy protocols for certain sensitive examinations.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Male gender to comply with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) requirements related to examinee privacy and gender-specific protocols for certain sensitive/intimate examinations
