Job Summary
Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to join Memorial Hermann-GoHealth Urgent Care across multiple south-region centers. Responsibilities include providing urgent care and emergency medicine services to adult and pediatric patients, performing assessments, treating acute episodic conditions (e.g., sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, minor infections), and directing patients to the emergency department when necessary. Competencies include sutures, casts, splints, reading EKGs and X-rays, and proficient use of Electronic Medical Records. Requires 2-5 years of post-residency experience; NP requires Master’s degree, PA requires Bachelor’s degree, and active state medical licensure. Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of post-residency experience
- PA/NP: 1 or more years of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting
- Active state medical licensure
- Bachelor’s Degree for Physician Assistants; Master’s Degree for Nurse Practitioners
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants; Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
