Job Summary
Conduct daily rounding, prescribe medications and treatment plans, and address acute or emergent issues for residents in skilled nursing facilities. Communicate with facility nursing staff via phone or secure messaging as needed while maintaining reliable on-site attendance for scheduled 6-hour shifts. Ensure compliance with clinical standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. Work within a collaborative clinical team supported by intuitive technology, including voice dictation and an AI scribe for efficient documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. license
- Board certification by ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, or AACN (for Nurse Practitioners)
- Board certification by NCCPA (for Physician Assistants)
- Specialty in Internal Medicine
- Specialty in Family Medicine
- Specialty in Emergency Medicine
- Specialty in General Practice
- Specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Specialty in Geriatric Medicine
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily
