Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant sought for full-time urgent-care roles at Piedmont Urgent Care. Provide high-quality medical care to adults and children in a fast-paced center, document and communicate effectively, and support operations to ensure outstanding patient satisfaction. Role entails evaluating and implementing care plans, coordinating with center physicians, maintaining accurate records, and pursuing ongoing certification and professional development. Requires current Georgia FNP- or PA-licensure, an advanced degree, DEA registration, and BLS (with ACLS/PALS/NALS as applicable), plus experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine. Flexible schedules include 30–36 hours weekly for full-time status, with a 3-day/12-hour shift pattern (8am–8pm) and comprehensive benefits including malpractice coverage, medical/dental/vision, 401K, and CME/PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in accordance with the state of Georgia
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program of study
- Current DEA registration
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience with reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs
- BLS certification
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred
