Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages. Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies while prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations. Document encounters accurately in the electronic medical record and collaborate with physicians and nurses to coordinate care and refer patients to specialists. Lead clinic staff in delivering excellent patient care, ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain friendly relations with clients and employees while acting in a manner that fosters a positive work atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- MSN, DNP, MPAS, DMSc, or equivalent advanced degree
- Active, unencumbered state license
- Nurse Practitioners must be permitted to treat all age groups, from infant to geriatric, as per their board specialty, such as Family Nurse Practitioner
- DEA and BLS certification
- DOT certification
- Strong interpersonal communication and knowledge of clinical practice standards

- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting
