Job Summary
Conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate diagnostic tests, and formulate comprehensive patient care plans across multiple San Diego County locations. Prescribe treatments, refer patients for specialized resources, and submit individualized goals for provider review while adhering to NHC practice protocols and the NP Supervisory Agreement. Manage daily float coverage with variable site assignments, maintaining confidentiality and promoting team development through identified training needs. Receive float supplemental compensation of $15,000 annually, with a base salary range of $124,100 to $191,000 depending on experience. Mileage is reimbursed per organizational policy, and candidates must hold a Master's degree, active CA NP or PA license, RN license, current DEA, and AHA-approved BLS certification with board eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing
- California Nurse Practitioner License in good standing
- Physician Assistant License in good standing
- Registered Nurse License in good standing
- Current CA DEA licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through an American Heart Association (AHA)-approved source with in-person, hands-on skills check
- Board Certification (ANCC/AANPCB) or board eligible with certification within 12 months of hire
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to adjust work location on short notice
- Ability to lift/carry 20 lbs/weight
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
