Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Float

Floating Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant across PHC clinics in the Des Moines metro, Ames, and Marshalltown. Provides medical care across multiple PHC sites and outreach locations (homes, school-based clinics, mobile units, shelters, and other PHC sites) with a collaborative Patient Care Team. Performs histories and examinations, orders tests, writes medical orders and prescriptions, maintains EMR documentation, and participates in quality measures and process improvement. Leads and mentors staff when needed and participates in research. Requires licensure in Iowa as an NP or PA with board certification, DEA and CSA registrations, BLS, Mandatory Reporter Training, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Employment offers a salary range typically between $92,400 and $115,500, with potential to reach up to $138,600 annually.
