Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) provides whole-family primary, acute, chronic, and pediatric care in home and virtual settings. Responsibilities include managing patient panels, collaborating with a clinical team, utilizing electronic health records, prescribing treatments, providing patient education, and participating in outreach efforts. Candidates must have completed an accredited program and hold an Arizona license, with at least 2 years of clinical service experience. CPR certification and reliable transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner accredited program and an active, unrestricted license to practice in Arizona is required
- Experience (at least 2 years) providing clinical services to pediatric (including newborns) and adult patients with both chronic medical and behavioral health conditions
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical nursing skills such as blood drawing (venipuncture & phlebotomy), patient assessments, and care plan reinforcement
- Proven skills, knowledge base, and judgment necessary for independent clinical decision-making and problem-solving
- Maintains current CPR certification (BLS)
- Access to reliable transportation and willingness to comply with all the terms of the Nest Motor Vehicle Safety Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as the leader of an interdisciplinary care team preferred
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus, but not required
Additional Requirements
- Must have a driver’s license, a car, auto insurance, and the ability to drive to the homes of Nest families
- This position will involve educating and encouraging vaccination against COVID-19
