Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - First Assist Outpatient - Neurosurgery

Provide first assist support to Neurosurgeon in the operating room and support spine/neurosurgery outpatient clinics; collaborate with Neurosurgery teams and hospital/outpatient care teams; communicate with patients regarding care and concerns; manage outpatient neurosurgical patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and coordination of care, with responsibilities in documentation, referrals, and adherence to clinical protocols; require BLS certification, active or eligible PA or APRN licensure, and ability to manage an independent outpatient patient load in a high-volume neurosurgical setting; clinical duties include direct patient care, documentation in EPIC, participation in quality and regulatory activities, potential to precept students, and involvement in accreditation processes; role emphasizes supervision under a primar supervising/collaborating physician and compliance with state law and organizational policies; position is full-time, salaried/exempt, with regular weekday hours, and involves comprehensive patient care for neurosurgical patients in both operating room and outpatient settings.
