Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed to manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs, including acute, chronic, and well visits. Conduct in-office and testing-center care with occasional tele-health visits; participate in weekly clinical rounds and collaborate with in-office and virtual teams. Opportunity to perform in-office procedures and to obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states. This full-time role is based in San Francisco, CA at the Duboce Triangle office, with relocation assistance potentially available. Base salary range is $164,700 to $175,000 per year, with additional pay possible based on qualifications and schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
- State licensed in California, obtained by your One Medical start date
- In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least: 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting, coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
- Experience in LARC (IUD + Nexplanon) insertion and colposcopy procedures a plus
- A passion for human-centered primary care
- The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery
- An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses
- The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
