Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment data without performing treatment or prescribing medication. Perform focused physical exams with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day, working a predictable PRN schedule of two days monthly from 8am to 5pm in Crescent City. This role supports the veteran community through structured evaluations managed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
