Job Summary
Diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections. Provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services. Work autonomously with limited administrative burden and scrub business attire. Treat patients from age one and older with a minimum of six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care. Complete an ARC-PA approved program or hold national NP certification and maintain Pennsylvania licensure. Work under physician supervision or in collaboration with the physician.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Six months advanced practitioner experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care
- Ability to treat patients from age one and older
- Bachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant
- Master's Degree-Physician Assistant
- Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current NCCPA certification or eligibility
- Pennsylvania State licensure
- Eligible for licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA
- Certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners or be eligible to hold national certification that allows the NP to work with the patient populations and location settings associated with this position
- Work under the responsibility and supervision of the physician
