Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) needed for a 2-week occupational health screening event in Ronkonkoma, NY. Conduct standardized histories and physicals for participants, document findings in provided forms or electronic systems, flag health concerns per clinical protocols, and coordinate with Medical Assistants, administrative staff, and other providers to support efficient event-based health clearance. Requires active NY NP license and malpractice coverage; prior occupational health/urgent care/primary care experience; ability to commit to the full event schedule; strong interpersonal and documentation skills. Event is a short-term, high-volume assignment with potential evenings or weekends; ideal for an autonomous clinician working within a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State
- Malpractice insurance coverage
- Prior experience in occupational health, urgent care, or primary care
- Ability to commit to the full event schedule, including potential evenings or weekends
- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
