Job Summary
Evaluate, manage, and provide ambulatory OB/GYN care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric women, including prenatal services, family planning, and health screenings. Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and prescribe contraceptives including LARC. Perform limited ultrasounds, endometrial biopsies, and colposcopy/vulvar biopsies, while assessing risk status for normal and high-risk obstetrical patients. Deliver care in-person and virtually. Requires master's degree, board certification in Women's Health, Delaware license, and clinical experience with in-office GYN procedures. Located at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a master's degree program
- Board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
- License or license eligible in the State of Delaware
- Prescriptive Authority
- DEA registration
- BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years clinical experience
- Experience in in-office GYN procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal
- Experience in in-office GYN procedures including I&D of abscess
- Experience in in-office GYN procedures including Endometrial biopsy
- Experience in in-office GYN procedures including Vulvar biopsy
- Experience in in-office GYN procedures including Wound care
- Recommended skills: colposcopy
- Recommended skills: vulvar biopsy
