Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner provides professional nursing care to patients and/or significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, coordinating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care. Assists physician or other provider with clinical procedures, performs telephone triage, and participates in patient teaching. Directs Licensed Practical Nurses, clerical assistants, medical assistants, and other non-licensed personnel. Responsibilities include careful assessment, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to optimize patient outcomes in a per diem, NY-based role.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Registered nurse licensed to practice in New York with current New York registration and in good standing
- Record of prior stable employment and/or favorable references
