Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner role providing comprehensive primary and acute care for residents in a nursing home setting in Poughkeepsie, NY. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing health conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications within NP scope, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff, educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Flexible scheduling with options for full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week); visa sponsorship opportunities available. Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Experience: New graduates welcome (Part-time requires at least 6 months NP experience)
