Job Summary
MinuteClinic Nurse Practitioner providing holistic primary care for patients 18 months and older across multiple Illinois clinics (Worth, New Lenox, Tinley Park, Mokena, Orland Park, 103rd Pulaski, and surrounding areas). Responsibilities include accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common family illnesses, health problem management, health counseling, and disposition planning; administer immunizations and injections (COVID-19, influenza, TB, Depo) with vaccine counseling; education on pregnancy prevention and STI prevention; utilize Epic and coordinate with the Senior Practice Manager. Requires DOT certification within 30 days, BLS, and ability to work full-time with 40 hours weekly. Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner with current national certification and state APRN licensure. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) may be preferred depending on market.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pass a FIT test and wear respirator mask when required
- Ability to speak and write in additional languages (language such as Spanish) may be required depending on market
