Job Summary
Provide one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams for veterans in Yuma, AZ. Accepts Nurse Practitioner NP or Physician Assistant PA with an active license and NCCPA certification, holding a master’s degree or completed PA program. Role involves capturing responses during exams through web-based forms, with exams and documentation sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Standard exams cover musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory systems; ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) may be conducted on location or nearby. Full-time, salaried position with bi-weekly pay, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life), PTO, paid holidays, 401(k). Requires ability to work both independently and as part of a team, proficiency with basic computer skills, and compliance with vaccination guidelines. Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification (for PA)
- Master's degree (Nurse Practitioner) or completion of an approved Physician Assistant Program
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
