Job Summary
Educate patients on prevention, self-management, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions while providing proactive, relationship-based care focused on long-term health outcomes. Order, perform, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including labs, imaging, and point-of-care testing to develop individualized treatment plans. Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, infections, and chronic conditions across in-person, virtual, and employer-based settings. Counsel patients on medications, lifestyle interventions, and potential side effects, while incorporating lifestyle medicine strategies including nutrition, movement, and mindfulness. Perform primary care and occupational health procedures such as wound care, immunizations, and DOT exams. Collaborate with specialists, behavioral health providers, and employer partners to coordinate referrals and support complex conditions. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical appropriateness and safety standards. This employer-sponsored health clinic serves Kem Krest employees, operating outside traditional insurance to prioritize whole-person care and autonomy.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Wisconsin RN license
- Active, unrestricted FNP certification (AANP or ANCC)
- Active Wisconsin NP Specialty Certification
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
