Job Summary
Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide veterans with one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams. Capture responses through web-based forms and submit completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations. Perform standard exams including musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory assessments, with ancillaries such as X-rays, labs, EKGs, and PFTs ordered and conducted on location or nearby. Maintain an active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and BLS certification. Work independently and as part of a team with good interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license for the duration of your employment.
- Have a master's degree or successfully completed an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
- Have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines.
