Job Summary
Conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams for veterans in Honolulu, HI, reviewing pertinent medical history and capturing responses via web-based forms for U.S. Department of Veterans Awards. Perform standard exams including musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory assessments, with ancillaries such as X-rays, labs, EKGs, and PFTs ordered and conducted on location or nearby. Work independently as part of a team, ensuring appropriate gender representation for sensitive procedures while maintaining active NP licensure, BLS certification, and full vaccination status. Schedule is part-time, two days per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license for the duration of your employment
- Have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
- Must possess basic computer skills
- All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
