Job Summary
Family Practice NP role in Alaska (Bethel Census Area) offering a full-time, 2-3 year contract. Responsibilities include practicing medicine in Family Practice, supervising NP/PA students, and overseeing community Health Aide clinical practice. Must have completed an approved NP or PA training program, hold active Alaska and DEA licenses, and maintain CME requirements. Two years of experience preferred. Schedule is M-F, 8-5, with 40 hours per week. Location-based considerations include potential sites within Alaska; candidate must be licensed to practice in Alaska and have the ability to access EMR systems.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Training Program
- Nurse Practitioner certification
- Alaska License
- DEA license
- Two years minimum experience
- CME requirements compliance
- Experience reading radiographs
- Ability to supervise and mentor NP/PA students
- Oversee community Health Aide clinical practice
- Computer skills to access computerized medical records
